Privacy Policy

The Yale Dramatic Association, Inc., and its Executive and Associate Boards ("Dramat"), respects your privacy. Personal information provided to us will be treated according to this policy. This policy covers all Dramat sites and services.

The Dramat recommends that you read this privacy policy and those of all web sites you visit. The Dramat's online privacy policy is summarized below.

Use of Personal Information

Your personal information is used in the following ways:

• NetIDs/Passwords: Authentication is used solely for logging into restricted areas of the site. It is brokered by Yale University Information Technology Services and their Central Authentication Services ("CAS") login. During no part of the transaction does the Dramat have access to your password or to non-Dramat resources protected by CAS authentication.
• Forms: These are used solely as a mechanism for requesting information from users of the site. Forms collect no personal information, such as IP address, NetID, etc., other than that which is explicitly presented as a "field" on the form.
• Email Correspondence: E-mail is used to respond to issues and inquiries of all types. It is also used to disseminate information about changes to the privacy policy and terms of use. The Dramat will not change the way in which personal information is used without your consent.

Security Measures

We protect the personal information you provide us. For example, all transactions containing sensitive information are encrypted. Access to your personal information is limited to those individuals who require it to do their job.

Third-Party Access

Authorized third-parties, such as the membership of the Yale University Dramatic Association, Inc., may be allowed limited access to some of your personal information. We do not share your personal information with external third-parties, such as commercial sites or non-Yale affiliates, unless you have granted us permission to do so.

We provide links to third-party sites solely as a courtesy to our visitors. Since we do not control these websites, we encourage you to review the respective privacy policies of these (and all) third-party sites.

Children's Privacy/COPPA

This website is in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have personal information from or about a child under the age of 13, we will expunge that information from our systems. This includes, but is not limited to, the deletion of bulletin board service accounts, removal of submitted information in our internal databases, or removal of photographs and information regarding these individuals posted in the public domain.

Cookies

The Dramat site reserves the right to use "cookies." Cookies help us provide a better user experience by customizing content on a per-visitor basis. Cookie also store useful information that enables the site to "remember" you when you return. The Dramat site can only read cookies created by itself. If you choose to disable cookies in your browser, you can still access a majority of the public realm of the site without noticeable disruption.
